The wedding. The reason that I took my trip at this time was to attend the wedding of Yossi and Daniella. My wife Vanessa works at Adath Israel with Daniella's father Baruch Hoffman and our families have become very friendly over the past 6 years. When Baruch's son was married in November, we drove to Nashville for the chuppa.
When Daniella asked if I would be one of the Adim (ritual witness), I said that I would be honoured. When Vanessa heard that I was going to Israel for the wedding, she said she was going too. Unfortunately, Vanessa was unable to get on the plane due to her fear of flying and I went myself. This whole photo diary was done each night and posted on my server so she could see it in the morning.
The wedding was at Yarok al Hamayim at Kibbutz Hulda (hebrew only site), at their poolside patio. The wedding ceremony took place on a platform surrounded by the pool. I'm on the right side of the bride and groom in my white hat.
After the wedding ceremony, a fabulous wedding seuda (dinner) took place inside the hall where it was much cooler. Lots of food and dancing and drinking. A good time was had by all. Take a look at the movies. They're quite large, so either have a high speed connection or a lot of patience, please!
